How to use it
Head outside to an open space with room around you and the wind at your back, so the smoke blows away from you and your camera. Hold the cannon at arm's length, pointing up and away from your face and anyone nearby. Get your photographer or camera set first, then twist the base to activate and let the colour burst into the air. It's a one-use cannon, so have everything ready before you launch. For the best footage, fire it with clear sky or greenery behind you rather than a busy background.
Safety
For outdoor use only, in an open space away from faces, indoor areas and anything flammable. Point it up and away from people, hold it at arm's length, and keep children back or supervised. The powder is non-toxic but not for inhaling, so stand upwind and don't set it off in an enclosed space. One cannon is a single use.

How does it work?
It's a twist-to-launch smoke cannon. You hold it up and away from your face outdoors, twist the base to activate, and it fires a burst of coloured powder smoke into the air. There's no flame or lighter involved, so it's simple and clean to use.
Will I know the colour before I fire it?
Only if you look for it. The colour is hidden and marked with just a small, discreet sticker so the reveal stays a secret. If you want it kept secret from the parents too, have someone else check the sticker and set it up.
Is it the same as a smoke bomb?
It does a similar job, a big cloud of coloured smoke, but this is a twist-to-launch cannon rather than a lit smoke bomb, so there's no flame to deal with. A lot of people search for "smoke bombs," but this is the cleaner, flame-free version.
Is the smoke safe?
The powder is non-toxic, but like any smoke it's not for breathing in. Use it outdoors, point it up and away from people, and stand upwind so the cloud drifts away from you and your camera.
