It was not until I created Hapū Helpers that I learned that if a person who is HIV positive is undergoing the right treatments, they cannot pass on HIV. I got a call from the founder of Sperm Positive who opened my eyes to this world I didn’t know. Sperm positive is the world’s first HIV-positive sperm bank. Donors can donate through the clinic or privately.
Many HIV people want nothing more than to help others fulfil their dreams of family. I am excited about these donors who will form part of the community on the Gift of Family (A donor service we're building).
