Get a clear yes or no ovulation answer
Reading ovulation strips is a skill, and not everyone wants to learn it. Is that second line as dark as the control line, or nearly, or not quite? The Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test takes that doubt away completely.
Instead of lines, it gives you a plain answer on a digital screen. When it detects your LH surge, the hormone that rises 24 to 36 hours before you ovulate, it shows a smiley face. No smiley means not yet, so you keep testing. A smiley means your two most fertile days have started and it's time to try. That's the whole system, and it's over 99% accurate at picking up your surge.
For a lot of people, that clarity is worth it, especially for something this important. There's a reason Clearblue is the brand so many reach for first. The holder is reusable across the pack, you just click in a fresh stick each time, so it's simple to use right through your fertile window.
If you're weighing it up against reading strips yourself, that really is the choice in a nutshell, pay a little more for a clear digital answer, or spend less and read the lines. Both work. This one is for anyone who'd simply rather see a smiley face and know.
- A clear digital smiley face when your LH surge is detected
- Over 99% accurate at detecting the surge, no lines to interpret
- Pinpoints your 2 most fertile days for well-timed trying
About Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests
How do I read the result?
It's designed to be as simple as possible. A smiley face means your LH surge has been detected and your 2 most fertile days have begun. A blank circle or no smiley means no surge has been detected yet, so keep testing daily. There are no lines to compare.
When should I start testing?
It depends on your usual cycle length, and the pack includes a chart to tell you which day to begin. As a rough guide, you start a few days before you'd expect to ovulate and test daily until you get your smiley.
My friend's Clearblue test flashes a smiley, mine doesn't. Why?
That's a different product. The Clearblue Advanced test uses a flashing smiley for high fertility and a solid smiley for peak fertility, and identifies more fertile days. This standard Digital test keeps it simpler, with one smiley face marking your 2 most fertile days.
Can I buy refill sticks separately?
This listing is for the digital test pack itself. If you're after refill sticks to suit a holder you already own, get in touch and we'll let you know what we can offer, as availability can change.
Digital test or ovulation strips, which should I choose?
Both detect the same LH surge and both are accurate. A digital test gives you a clear smiley with nothing to interpret, which many people prefer for peace of mind. Strips like our OvaDetect LH strips cost far less per test, which suits testing early and often, but you read the lines yourself. It comes down to whether you'd rather pay more for certainty or less for volume.
Does this test tell me if I'm pregnant?
No. This is an ovulation test, it detects the LH surge that comes before ovulation, not pregnancy. For that you'd use an hCG pregnancy test a couple of weeks later, like our HcgDetect strips.
