Your questions, answered.
Is Pre-Seed actually different from normal lubricant?
Yes. Many everyday lubricants have a pH or thickness that isn't suited to sperm, which matters most during your fertile window. Pre-Seed is formulated to match the pH and consistency of fertile cervical fluid, so it's designed to be compatible with conception rather than work against it.
When should I apply it?
About 15 minutes before intercourse or insemination gives it time to spread naturally. You can pre-fill an applicator and set it aside discreetly beforehand if that's easier.
Can I use Pre-Seed with a home insemination kit?
Absolutely, it's a popular pairing. Pre-Seed is safe to use with sperm, eggs and embryos, so it can make insemination more comfortable without compromising the process.
Does Pre-Seed help me get pregnant?
On its own it won't increase your chances, and no lubricant can. What it does is avoid the interference regular lubricants can cause, so if you're going to use a lubricant while trying to conceive, a fertility-friendly one like Pre-Seed is the sensible choice.
Is it safe for both partners?
Yes. Pre-Seed can be applied internally with the applicators or externally by hand, and it's body-safe for both partners.
Do I need to rinse it off?
No. Pre-Seed is body-safe and will absorb or pass naturally, so there's nothing to rinse. Just bin the single-use applicator rather than flushing it.
